Winter Training Camps in La Nucía
– Welcoming elite teams for their winter training camps –
The preparation for a successful season begins long before the first competition. Every training session, every moment of rest, and every detail matters when the goal is to achieve peak performance.
At Hotel BCL Podium La Nucía, we offer professional cycling teams, sports clubs, and federations much more than just accommodation: an environment designed to focus, train, and prepare for new challenges.
Located in the heart of the Costa Blanca, just 200 metres (3 minutes' walk) from the Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano, we combine first-class sports facilities, an exceptional winter climate, and personalised service tailored to the specific needs of each team.
Upcoming Training Camp:
Team Visma | Lease a Bike
This season, we are taking another step forward in our commitment to professional sport as Hotel BCL Podium La Nucía becomes the chosen training base for Team Visma | Lease a Bike from 8 to 18 December 2026, during their pre-season training camp.
This partnership reflects the confidence that one of the most successful and technologically advanced teams in the international cycling peloton places in our facilities. Located just 200 metres from the Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano, we provide the ideal operational environment, where every detail — logistics, recovery, and performance — is carefully aligned with the demands of elite-level competition.
“The quality of the facilities, the personalised attention, and the tailored logistics at Hotel BCL Podium provide us with the ideal environment to optimise our riders’ performance and preparation.”

Our Experience with
Team Polti VisitMalta
Last season, we had the privilege of welcoming Team Polti VisitMalta during their demanding pre-season training camp on the Costa Blanca.
Hosting a professional cycling team of this calibre allowed us to refine and optimise our logistical operations: from carefully coordinating rest schedules and providing tailored sports nutrition in our restaurant to ensuring secure storage for technical equipment. Their trust reinforces our commitment to elite-level sport.
“We were looking for a hotel with an ideal climate, state-of-the-art facilities, and a shared strategic vision for high-performance sport. Hotel BCL Podium provided us with exactly the best conditions in every respect.”
Fran Contador · General Manager, Team Polti VisitMalta
